Mary E. Stanger Rose was born November 26, 1922, in Fulton, daughter of George W. and Dianne Kopenga Stanger. She married Henry Rose March 127, 1941, in Camanche, IA. They were later divorced.
Surviving are daughters, Pat (Carl Hamm) Johnston, Sandra Rose and Janice (John) Bogart; son, Henry 'Bud' Rose; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; fifteen step-great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathy Jean, in infancy; sisters, Katherine Hamm and Margaret Stanger and one granddaughter, Abby Anderson.
