Mrs. Gay Nell Spradlin Achimon, age 71, a resident of Tallassee, died Monday, December 4, 1978 at 6:05 p.m. in the Community Hospital in Tallassee after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 6, 1978 at 11 a.m. from the First Baptist Church of Tallassee with Dr. David Bentley officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Survivors include husband, Mr. Louis A. Achimon, Tallassee; two sons, Richard S Achimon, Mobile, AL, Louis A Achimon, Jr, Vidalia, GA; four grandchildren; step-mother, Mrs. Nettie Spradlin, Tallassee, one brother, Joe Spradlin, El Paso, TX.
