US Congressman. He was elected as an Adams candidate to represent Ohio's 6th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1828 to 1829. He was the son of General John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg and nephew of Congressman Frederick Augustus Conrad Muhlenberg.
