A funeral for Hilma Rebecca Schenk, a Northeast Portland resident, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of River View Cemetery. Private entombment will be in River View Mausoleum.
Mrs. Schenk died of causes related to age Saturday in a Portland care center. She was 93.
She was born May 18, 1897, in Jupiter, Minn. She had lived in the Portland area for the past 60 years. Mrs. Schenk was a homemaker. Her husband, Arthur Schenk, died in 1986.
Mrs. Schenk is survived by her daughters, Barbara Chapman of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Bernice J. Carmin of Portland; sons, Donald A. and Carl, both of Portland; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
