Mrs. Virginia Stone Taft of Indian Hill died Tuesday at Holmes Hospital after a long illness. Survivors include her husband Lloyd B. Taft; four children, Louise Cook, Syracuse, NY, Virginia Carabine, Canterbury, England, and Julia McMullen and Lloyd Jr., both of New Haven, CT; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Taft was the daughter-in-law of the former U.S. Senator Robert A. Taft.

Services were held at 4 p.m. at the Indian Hill Church.
