He was born in Sweden Dec. 9, 1889. Mr. Anderson came to Portland at the age of 14. He had recently retired as an engineer with the Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railroad, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Washington Masonic Lodge and Augustana Lutheran Church.
He is survived by the widow Katherine; two sons, Dr. William B. Anderson and Dr. Robert K. Anderson; a daughter, Mrs. Helen M. Lucia; 10 grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters remain in Sweden.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, Pastor Dennis Rodin officiating. Vault entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Mikeworth’s Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
