Services for Edith S. Bergren, 87, Stanton, were held Thursday, April 5, at Tabor Lutheran Church, Wallin, with Rev. Melvin Suhr officiating and burial in Mamre Cemetery, Stanton. Arrangements were by Sellergren Lindell Funeral Home, Red Oak.
She died April 2, 1984 at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, she was born February 4, 1897 in Montgomery County and lived all her life in the Stanton and Red Oak communities. She was married in 1920 to Clarence Victor Bergren, who died in 1971.
She was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church and 20th Century Club.
Surviving are two sons, Allen of Boone and Marion of Prescott, Arizona; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother, D. W. Anderson, Stanton.
