Services were held December 23, 1984 for Dora L. Ossian of Red Oak, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Mrs. Ossian was born August 9, 1904 in Page County, Iowa, the daughter of Joel and Effie Lindell and passed away December 21, 1984 , at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, at the age of 80 years following a brief illness.
Mrs. Ossian was married on December 5, 1923 to Arndt Ossian, who survives. Other survivors include their children, Mrs. Bud (Joyce) Halvin, Red Oak, Mrs. Charles (Twyla) McDunlin, West Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Mrs. Myron (Sandra) Ballain, Auburn, Nebraska, a brother, Milton Lindell, Villisca, three sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Elvera) Linn, Red Oak, Mrs. Elvin (Mae) Isaacson, Omaha, Nebraska, and Mrs. Harold W. (Norma) Anderson, Stanton, six grandsons, and one great grandson.
She lived all her life in Page and Montgomery Counties and moved to Red Oak in 1948 and was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
The Rev. John Swenson officiated the services, with interment in the Mamre Cemetery at Stanton. Sellergren Lindell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
