Services for Alveda M. Arnold, 97, Red Oak, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sellergren Lindell Funeral Home here with Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
She died Monday, April 6, 1987 at the Red Oak Good Samaritan Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Arnold was born March 11, 1890 in Stanton to Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bergren. She married Matin Anderson in Wallin on June 29, 1910. She then married James Arnold in Texas in 1946 after the death of her first husband.
Mrs. Arnold had lived all her life in Montgomery County and had worked at the Powell School for five years. She had been a housewife.
She was a member of the Tabor Lutheran Church, Wallin.
Survivors include son, Carmit Anderson of Red Oak; three grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
